Winamp is a program used to DJ that most of our DJs in Revolutions Radio use to stream. It is a media program which is easy to use. You will be able to get more technical help from our DJs with this program. Of course you are always free to use other programs however, we may not be able to figure out what the problem is to fix it should you need support.

Shoutcast Radio DSP for Windows

One of the most commonly used plug-ins for Winamp to stream on air. Fairly easy to set up.

Edcast

Another plugin for Winamp that can be used for streaming.

SAM Broadcaster

SAM broadcaster is another program that can be used for DJing. It is a bit more difficult than Winamp and can be something of a "resource hog". Knowledge of databases is also a good thing to know when you are using SAM.

Skype

Skype is a program that allows you to make free phone calls to other people who have Skype. DJs can also conduct talk shows via Skype. It is fun to have a good debate and chat with people on the air. So if you like doing talk shows consider getting Skype!
